Mountain Bike Trail update

Carbondale/Basalt

Prince Creek -- Dry, great condition, the cows are there

Red Hill -- Dry and dusty

Basalt Mountain -- The road climb is dry. Lower loop is closed due to a mudslide. Middle loop and Upper loop are open, but muddy and horse trodden.

HayPark -- Great condition, one of the best places to ride right now

Glenwood Springs

Boyscout-- Loose at the end, getting hot

Snowmass

Tom Blake -- Riding, dirt is in good shape, the surrounding forest is keeping it moist

Government -- Great shape, full of flowers

Rim Trail - Blooming and gorgeous

Aspen

Smuggler -- The climb is dry, the trails beyond are riding even Iowa shaft. Some wet patches.

Hunter creek -- Meadow is dry now, watch out for afternoon thunderstorms

Lenado - Finally dry

Roads

Rio Grande -- great, swept, smooth and busy

HWY 133 to Redstone Marble, Mcclure Pass -- Plenty of winter damage that has not been repaired yet. If it rains, be aware of mud slides and loose rocks. Most all of the damage is avoidable, just be alert.

Glenwood Canyon Bike Path -- Open again, as the flood waters have receeded
